I am so bored of seeing images in the gossip magazines of Kerry Katona, it seems like every day there is s new story in the press on the ‘new Kerry’. After having a disastrous 2009, this year has been a much better year for Katona, as her new management reinvent her with a fashion makeover. Kerry has spent thousands on cosmetic surgery including liposuction and a breast increase, despite being declared bankrupt last year, the Z list celebrity is trying to regain her popularity with a new wardrobe. She is desperately trying to lose her chavy style which used to consist of tracksuits, she has recently been spotted wearing designed clothes, looking a lot thinner and healthier, her management clearly believe that by putting her in new clothes they can create a new Kerry.

It has been reported in the press this week that Madonna and her 13-year-old daughter Lourdes have created a fashion line for American retail giant Macy’s.  Not only does Madonna design clothes with her daughter but she also wears the same clothes as her too. 51-year-old Madonna is regularly spotted not only dressing like her 13 year old daughter Lourdes but actually wearing her clothes too. This trend is also copied by our own British celebrities. There was recently a photo published of Kate Moss out with her daughter Lila-Grace out shopping in London and one could have easily been mistaken for the other.

When the summer starts, in fashion that means only one thing - summer festival season has started and summer festival fashion is underway. This prompts a major dilemma for most girls – how to remain comfortable and dry in the unpredictable British weather, yet at the same time remaining trendy and fashionable. Right, it’s August and I have a week to go until my summer holiday and for the last 2 weekends I have been searching the shops in Liverpool and Manchester for the perfect Bikini. I always feel that a decent bikini is the one summer staple that a girl really needs to ensure that they spend a good amount of time and money investing in. A well-fitting bikini can seriously transform a girl’s body and her confidence when go on holiday. Coleen Rooney often gets fashion so right recently (obviously forgetting that terrible sleeping-bag coat and bright yellow moon boots she wore before becoming officially ‘Rooney’). However, it seems Coleen has gone back to her bright, gaudy fashion as she stepped out in Manchester last night looking like she belonged on Corrie! Wearing gold earrings that were the size of her face, and a very unflattering petrol blue, one shoulder dress she looked more like Coronation Street’s Bet Lynch than the fashion savvy WAG. Coleen has also been pictured recently wearing some very flattering bikini’s from high street favorite River Island whilst she was on holiday in the Caribbean with her husband and son. It seems that even Coleen, whose footballer husband Wayne earns over £100,000 a week, still can’t stop her searching out the bargains on the high street, which is probably why she has been chosen as the face of Littlewoods Direct recently.
