When the summer starts, in fashion that means only one thing - summer festival season has started and summer festival fashion is underway. Zuzu has completed its collection for the 2008 autumn/ winter collection. We will release some exclusive footage on our website throughout the early part of July, by mid July the collection will be available to pre-order online. Our Creative Director, Fatz, was recently invited to view Sky One’s Project Catwalk 3 final collection during London FashionWeek. Whilst there, Fatz caught up with amongst others, her old mentor Ben De Lisi and host Kelly Osborne.

Zuzu has recently styled and designed stagewear for Julie Gorden, the female vocalist for the ‘Happy Mondays’

ZuZu’s Black Feathered dress was used In an advert to promote the new Filthy chocolate brand (as previously showcased at the prestigious ‘little black dress’ event 2006) for the soon to be launched advertisement for a new chocolate product.

Zuzu lit up Manchester Fashion Week on the weekend of 4th October 2007 when we showcased our collection alongside brands such as Gharani Strok, Ben De Lisi and Buddhist Punk.

Project Catwalk designer Fatz Kassim is set to launch ZUZU, a couture boutique in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter, with a lavish show stopping Lauch event on July 19, 2007.

The event will include an exclusive VIP preview of the store and Fatz’s latest ZUZU and ZUZU couture collections, followed by fashion exhibition and launch party at Manchester Art Gallery.

The event is being held in aid of xxx and will feature a celebrity charity fashion show and auction with the opportunity to bid for one of Fatz’s new couture gowns.

The nature of Fatz’s work means her designs will be exclusive to each customer and fitted to their exact measurements. As a result the ZUZU boutique is a decadent and truly gourgeous place to shop, resembling an extravagant boudoir with chandeliers and beautifully drapped veils of fabric.
