Fighting to be crowned Queen of the Catwalk on a TV talent show, Fatz Kassim is out to prove Manchester is the new Milan. Helen Tither meets her.
KATZ Kassim knows just how cut-throat the world of fashion can be.
One of the final contestants in Sky One’s Project Catwalk 2, she has already had to fight in a beachside brawl just to keep a place in the TV talent show.

Manchester’s Zu Zu Couture come close to stealing the show with a feathered dress. The gala takes place at Urbis on Saturday 25 March, followed by an exhibition of dresses from Saturday 8 April to Sunday 21 May….

Fatz was aged 33 when she was a contestant on the second season of the reality show Project Catwalk . She is from Ardwick in Manchester and has her own fashion label Zu Zu Couture Denim , which is patronized by local celebrities and footballers.
